SMS SOFTWARE

All files on this page are compressed with PKZIP.

This software all requires the following two files in windows/system. Have a look in windows/system before you download these as you may already have them. If you have a copy of MSCOMM.VBX which is not dated 12/5/93 then you must download the version below. You can then either overwrite your existing version or place a copy of the downloaded version in the directory of each application. You cannot run two applications at the same time which are compiled for different versions of MSCOMM.VBX.

These run-time files and parts of the software below are Copyright Microsoft. The run-time files are only placed here for use in conjunction with the software below. The software files should be placed in their own individual directory, e.g. c:\smslink; c:\pageasst etc. and they create their own auxiliary files in their directory (e.g. c:\smslink\smslink.ini).

    SMS Forwarder V4.59, 26K Interfaces to Microsoft Mail and forwards email to SMS using the DDE capabilities of the above programs
    SMS Manager V0.24, 28K Send and receive SMS to/from a GSM phone using a PC/serial interface conforming to the GSM 07.05 block mode protocol. Full incoming message decode. Full error/acknowledge decode on sending.
    SMS Manager V0.36 (32 bit), 66K Send and receive SMS to/from a GSM phone using a PC/serial interface conforming to the GSM 07.05 block mode or PDU mode protocol. Full incoming message decode. Full error/acknowledge decode on sending.
    SMS Daemon V0.32 & Pagenet V1.38, 42K A pair of programs which allow TCP/IP calls across internet or intranet so that each user can use either PageNet or a WWW client to send SMS messages. SMS Daemon collect messages and passes them to one of the "Assistant" programs above for dialup. This means only one modem is needed in a given organisation. Further information
